The 2024 CBA Summer League · Yumin Station will kick off with great enthusiasm from August 23rd to August 27th at the Yumin Sports Center! Six teams including Shenzhen Marco Polo, Jiangsu Kungfu Yoghurt, Xinjiang Yili Ertan, Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank, Nanjing Toupai Sujiu, and Tianjin Pioneers will gather in Yumin County, Xinjiang. The tournament will adopt a points system to determine the final champion.
After the intense competition at the Futian Station of the Summer League, Shenzhen Marco Polo, after a brief respite, officially set off for Xinjiang Yumin today to prepare for the upcoming games starting on August 23rd at Yumin Station. Similar to the Futian Station, Shenzhen will continue to field a lineup led by key players such as He Xining and Gu Quan, along with young talents like Sun Haoqin, Wang Haoran, and Mo Junjie.
Compared to three games over three days at the Futian Station, the five games over five days at Yumin Station will test the team’s endurance and strategic adaptability. At the Futian Station, Shenzhen relied on abundant energy and cohesive teamwork to consecutively defeat Zhejiang, Tianjin, and Xinjiang, winning the championship trophy. Whether Shenzhen can maintain their winning streak at Yumin Station has become a focus for fans. Regarding this station’s matches, Coach Zhou stated, “Our main goal is to train the team, further refine our lineup, and accumulate more experience for the new season.”
