Today, Jilin Men’s Basketball officially announced that Dominique Jones has returned to the team.

Jilin Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Northeast Tigers Basketball Club has completed the signing with Dominique Jones. Dominique Jones returns to the Jilin Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Northeast Tigers men’s basketball team.

Our club has formally submitted registration materials to the CBA Company. After review and public announcement, Dominique Jones will officially represent the Jilin Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Northeast Tigers men’s basketball team in the CBA League.

Dominique Jones, born in 1988, is 1.96 meters tall and weighs 98 kilograms. He was selected by the Grizzlies in the 25th pick of the first round in the 2010 NBA draft and played for several NBA teams including the Mavericks.

In the six seasons Dominique Jones played for the Jilin Northeast Tigers, the team made it to the playoffs each time. In the 2014-2015 season, they finished fifth, and in the 2021-2022 season, they advanced to the quarterfinals after winning 2-0 in the playoff series from the Round of 12. In the 2022-2023 season, he was named to the Best International Player lineup and won the Best International Player award.

This marks Jones’ seventh season playing alongside the Jilin Northeast Tigers, surpassing Rod Gregory as the foreign player who has played the longest for the Jilin Northeast Tigers.
