Grizzlies Official: GG Jackson Suffers Fifth Metatarsal Fracture in Right Foot While Playing Basketball Out of Town; Surgery Scheduled

Today, the Memphis Grizzlies announced that GG Jackson suffered a fracture in his right foot while playing basketball outside of Dallas on August 27th. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on September 4th.

According to Grizzlies beat reporter Matt Infield, GG Jackson has a fifth metatarsal fracture in his right foot.

In the 2023-24 season, GG Jackson played 48 games for the Grizzlies, averaging 25.7 minutes per game and scoring 14.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.
