Chiba Jets Official: Yuta Watanabe Suffers Left Ankle Sprain, Expected to be Out for Weeks

On October 8, the Japanese B.League team Chiba Jets announced that Yuta Watanabe has suffered a left ankle sprain and is expected to have a recovery period of 6 weeks.

Yuta Watanabe has played twice this season for the Jets. He scored 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist in the season opener, and then played for 6 minutes before being injured in the second game. He is expected to return in the FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers in November.
