Recently, NBA legend and the shortest player in NBA history, standing at only 160 cm, “Muggsy” Bogues talked about Curry on a show hosted by former Warriors head coach Mark Jackson.
This good friend of Curry’s father, Dell Curry, mentioned,
“When Curry was little, he once said he wanted to grow to be 5’3″ like Uncle Muggsy, but I thought, if that were the case, everyone would wonder who your dad really is. He’s definitely more than 5’3″. I watched him grow up, and it’s been a great honor to see his growth.”
Bogues and Dell Curry were teammates for 9 years at the Hornets, joining the team together in 1988, and later becoming teammates again at the Raptors from 1999 onwards.
