Frederic FuTu becomes the new head coach of the French men’s basketball team.
During his playing career, FuTu, who played as a point guard, made 47 appearances for the French national team. As a coach, he has coached rising French stars such as WenBanYaMa and LiSaXie at the club level. Additionally, his daughter, MaLin FuTu, is currently a member of the French women’s basketball team.
It is understood that the main events during FuTu’s coaching tenure will include the 2025 European Championship, the 2027 World Cup, and the 2028 Olympics.
