On September 26, the official announcement from Sichuan Men’s Basketball stated that Duan Ruiqi suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in his right knee. He has undergone surgery and the expected recovery period is 40 weeks.

【Injury Report】Our player Duan Ruiqi sustained an injury while playing for the National U18 Men’s Basketball team. After diagnosis, it was confirmed that he had an ACL tear in his right knee. On September 25, he successfully underwent surgery in Beijing, with an estimated recovery period of 40 weeks.

The club will make every effort to ensure proper rehabilitation support. We hope that all players remain free from injury and wish Duan Ruiqi a speedy recovery so he can return to the CBA court.
