Today marks the NBA’s media day for the new season, where Clippers star player Harden spoke to the press.
When discussing teammate Leonard’s injury, Harden said: “He just needs to take his time, we want him to stay healthy towards the end of this season. While I don’t know how much training he has done, I do know that once he is ready to play, he will join us right away.”
Regarding his contract renewal with the Clippers, Harden expressed: “This feels like coming home for me; I have no intention of going anywhere else. I want to leave a legacy here. Despite many people outside not having high expectations of us, we hold ourselves to very high standards. Throughout my career, I’ve never missed a playoff.”
