Grizzlies Center Jaren Jackson Jr. Suffers Potential Hamstring Strain During First Training Camp Practice; Will Undergo Imaging

Today, ESPN reporter Tim MacMahon reported that the Memphis Grizzlies’ key center, Jaren Jackson Jr., experienced hamstring tightness during the team’s first training camp practice and will undergo imaging.

After the team’s training session, head coach Taylor Jenkins told media reporters, “We suspect it might be a strain.”

Previously, it was reported that GG Jackson, who made the second All-Rookie Team last season with the Grizzlies, also underwent surgery for a fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot.
