Tomorrow, the WNBA playoffs will kick off, with the second-placed Lynx set to face the seventh-seeded Mercury.
Today, the Lynx official social media released a poster celebrating the team’s achievement of the most regular-season wins with 30 victories, recording a 30-10 win-loss record, and a winning percentage of 75%.
This is actually not the best record in Lynx history; previously, with Maya Moore, Augustus, Fowles, and Whalen as the Big Four, the Lynx achieved a terrifying record of 28 wins and 6 losses in 2016, with a winning rate as high as 82.4%. Unfortunately, that season ended with a narrow 2-3 loss to the Sparks in the finals. However, the Lynx have four championships in their history, tied for first in WNBA history.
This season, the Lynx not only achieved a 30-win record but also won the Commissioner’s Cup championship and are now poised to make a strong run for the ultimate title.
