After reaching a consensus with Huang Rongqi, our club is pleased to announce that he will represent the Guangdong team in the CBA league for the 2024-2025 season.
Huang Rongqi was born on January 14, 1999, in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Standing at 188 cm tall, he plays as a guard. In 2017, he joined Sichuan Blue Whales Basketball Club, officially starting his CBA career.
Over the past seven seasons, he has played 265 games and successively served Sichuan Blue Whales, Jiangsu Dragons Ken Dia, and Xinjiang Guanghui Basketball Club, known for his sharp breakthroughs and strong defense. During the 2020-2021 season, Huang Rongqi played 53 games for Jiangsu Dragons Ken Dia, contributing an average of 11.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1 steal per game in 28.5 minutes. Last season, he averaged 17.6 minutes per game in the playoffs for Xinjiang, contributing 6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
