Fu Zhenghao wrote: “I just looked at a set of data, the number of institutions in our country’s sports system has decreased from 6,979 in 2018 to 6,682 in 2022. Among these, the number of sports administrative organs within the sports system was reduced to 3,069 in 2022, which means that half of the sports organizations have already completed decoupling and de-administratization. The number of institutions under sports project management departments has also decreased from 284 in 2018 to 273 in 2022. Overall, the trend of socialization, decoupling, and de-administratization still exists in our country’s sports organizations, albeit at a relatively steady pace. Of course, the business supervisory departments for these sports associations are still the General Administration of Sport.”
