Today, according to a report by Shams, the Dallas Mavericks’ backup guard Dante Exum has suffered a severe right wrist injury and may need surgery.
The Mavericks are currently evaluating treatment options. Exum was a key substitute point guard for the Mavericks during last season’s playoffs, making this a significant blow to the team.
Last season, Exum played in 55 games, averaging 7.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 19.8 minutes per game.
