On August 30, FIBA officially announced that Peja Stojaković has been inducted into the FIBA Basketball Hall of Fame.
Stojaković is one of the best players to ever come out of the former Yugoslavia, and he will be entering the FIBA Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2024.
At the 2001 European Championship, Stojaković represented Yugoslavia and won the championship with his team, earning him the title of Most Valuable Player at the European Championship. In 2002, Stojaković joined Yugoslavia in the World Championship, defeating teams such as the United States and Argentina en route to winning the championship.
