According to previous reports, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards stated that apart from Michael Jordan, all other former NBA players lacked skill.
In the latest episode of the podcast “Gil’s Arena,” former NBA star Gilbert Arenas discussed Jordan’s competitive environment back in the day.
Arenas pointed out that Jordan never faced any of the top five shooting guards in NBA history during their prime.
“If we really want to talk about Jordan’s competition, let’s put it this way, he (Jordan) never faced any of the top five shooting guards in NBA history during their prime. However, Kobe faced two of them, and Jordan only met a young Kobe in 1998. Allen Iverson, Dwyane Wade, James Harden, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Jordan did not face these players. Now, only history can tell you who is what (Greatest Of All Time?), because those days are gone.”
