CBA Game Report: Hu JinQiu Scores, Guangsha’s Foreign Duo Combine for Points, Guangsha vs. Nanjing

Game Report: On the evening of October 19th, the CBA league continued with a match between Zhejiang Guangsha and Nanjing Toupai Sujiu. In the first quarter, both teams started off evenly, scoring back and forth from 2-2 to 7-7. After Zhejiang Guangsha hit consecutive three-pointers by Brown and Knight, they led 13-7. With another three-pointer by Knight, Guangsha extended their lead to 18-9. After Brown scored again, Guangsha led 22-11, forcing Nanjing Toupai Sujiu to call a timeout. Upon resuming, Brown continued to hit three-pointers, and Guangsha led 27-14. Zhao JiaRen scored on a layup, and Guangsha led 32-19, which was the final score of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, under the leadership of Brown and Knight, Guangsha started with an 11-3 run, leading 43-22, making the game one-sided. After Hu JinQiu scored on an offensive rebound, Guangsha led 52-27. Guo HaoWen hit a three-pointer, and Nanjing Toupai Sujiu went on a 9-0 run to close the gap to 36-52. After a timeout by Guangsha, they responded with a 6-0 run, leading 58-36. Guo HaoWen continued to score, but at halftime, Guangsha led 58-41.

In the third quarter, Guangsha continued to expand their lead. After Knight scored in the paint, Guangsha led 69-46. Mu Di then hit a three-pointer for Nanjing Toupai Sujiu, but Brown answered with another three-pointer, and Guangsha led 72-49. When Nanjing Toupai Sujiu closed the gap to 56-74, Sun MingHui hit a mid-range shot, and Brown hit another three-pointer from the corner, extending Guangsha’s lead to 79-58. Knight then hit another three-pointer, and Guangsha led 86-59, forcing Xirelijiang to call another timeout. However, Knight and Brown continued to score from beyond the arc, and by the end of the third quarter, Guangsha led 92-64.

In the fourth quarter, after Hu JinQiu made two free throws, Guangsha led 94-64. After leading 100-68, Guangsha replaced Hu JinQiu and Brown with substitutes. Zeng FanRi scored on a layup, and Nanjing Toupai Sujiu trailed 70-102. Nanjing Toupai Sujiu gradually brought in their bench players, and due to the large point difference, the game lost its suspense. Ultimately, Zhejiang Guangsha defeated Nanjing Toupai Sujiu 108-81.
