Darius Morris' Cause of Death Revealed: Drug Use and Alcoholism Led to Heart Failure, Body Found Decomposed and Odorous

On June 15, the cause of death for former NBA player and CBA Guangdong import Darius Morris was disclosed.

As previously reported, Morris was found deceased in his Los Angeles home on May 3, with tests showing alcohol, cocaine, and hydrocodone still present in his system.

The forensic autopsy report stated that drug use and excessive alcohol consumption were significant factors leading to Morris’s death, which subsequently caused heart failure due to coronary artery disease. The incident is considered an accident.

Additionally, no drugs were found at the scene of Morris’s death; however, his body was discovered in a state of decomposition and emitting an odor.
