Double Stars Fail to Shine! Zion Struggles Against Green, Ingram Faces Intense Double Teams

On October 31, the NBA regular season saw the Pelicans lose 89-104 to the Warriors in an away game, suffering their third consecutive defeat. The two stars who performed well in the previous game, Zion and Ingram, both found themselves in difficult situations. Zion struggled with his shooting, while Ingram faced intense double teams from the Warriors. Ultimately, the Pelicans lost again to the Warriors on the road.

In this game, Zion faced strong defense from Draymond Green and had a very poor performance throughout, shooting 5 for 20 with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 turnovers. In the first half, Zion was 2 for 12, and by the end of the third quarter, he was 3 for 16. If not for scoring consecutively in the final stages, Zion’s performance would have been even more dismal. While Jose Alvarado contributed 16 points, many of his scores came during the garbage time in the fourth quarter. Other players failed to score in double digits once again.
