On October 4, ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reported that the Golden State Warriors had considered drafting Bronny James during the draft.
The reporter stated that the Warriors liked Bronny’s “all-around skills,” but ultimately decided not to use their No. 52 pick on him, respecting LeBron James’ wish to play on the same team as his son.
The Warriors selected center Poste with the 52nd pick, while the Lakers chose Bronny with the 55th pick.
