On August 8, FIBA officially updated the latest MVP rankings for the Olympic Women’s Basketball. All ten players on the list come from the top four teams, with three each from the United States and France, and two each from Australia and Belgium.
The USA’s Stewart remains at the top, Belgium’s Meesseman moves up two spots to second, another key player from the USA, Wilson, ranks third. The fourth and fifth positions are held by France’s Gabby Williams and Johannes respectively. Australia’s Alanna Smith is sixth, followed by Belgium’s inside player Linkeens, Australian veteran Whitcomb, the USA’s Griner, and France’s Ayayi who take the seventh to tenth positions respectively.
