Hart: The Entire Celtics Team Needs to Take a Urine Test; Any Discussion Questioning Bridges’ Shooting is Stupid

Hart: The Entire Celtics Team Needs to Take a Urine Test; Any Discussion Questioning Bridges' Shooting is StupidOn October 23, in the first game of the NBA’s new season, the New York Knicks faced off against the defending champion Boston Celtics. The game quickly turned into a one-sided affair.

The Celtics dominated the Knicks with a score of 132-109, hitting 29 three-pointers in the process. This not only set a new team record but also tied the NBA record.

Notably, the Celtics hit 10 out of 16 three-pointers in the first quarter and led by 19 points at halftime with 17 three-pointers, setting a new team record. Overall, the team shot 50.5% from the field and 47.5% from beyond the arc (29-of-61) while dishing out 33 assists and committing only 3 turnovers.

In contrast, the Knicks managed just 11 three-pointers on 30 attempts. After the game, Josh Hart, speaking about the Celtics’ hot shooting, said, “I’m telling you right now, the league needs to drug test all of them; I’ve never seen anything like it.” The Knicks struggled with their outside shooting, and some blamed Cam Bridges, who went 2-for-7 from three-point range and had a game-worst plus-minus of -33. Hart responded to this criticism by saying, “Bridges works hard and he was shooting well before. So any discussion questioning his shooting is stupid, and we’re not going to really talk about that.”
