Hornets Player Cody Martin Suffers Thumb Tear and Sprained Right Wrist; to Miss Preseason Opener Against Knicks

On October 5, the Hornets announced that team forward Cody Martin suffered a thumb tear and sprained right wrist while attempting a block.

Martin will miss the preseason opener against the Knicks on October 7 and is currently listed as day-to-day.

Last season, Martin played 28 games, averaging 7.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 steals in 26.9 minutes per game.
