Jilin Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Northeast Tigers Basketball Club has completed the signing of Malik Newman, who joins the Jilin Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Northeast Tigers men’s basketball team.

Our club has formally submitted registration materials to the CBA company. After review and public announcement, Malik Newman will officially represent the Jilin Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Northeast Tigers in the CBA league.

Malik Newman, born on February 21, 1997, is 191 cm tall, weighs 86 kg, plays as a guard, and holds American nationality.

Malik Newman once represented the U.S. national youth team to win the U17 World Championship gold medal and was named MVP of the U17 World Championship; he also represented the University of Kansas NCAA team to win the conference’s best rookie and tournament MVP. From 2022 to 2024, he successively won the scoring title and monthly MVP in the VTB League.
