In today’s Olympic men’s basketball group stage, Team USA defeated South Sudan 103-86, securing their second consecutive victory.

After the game, USA head coach Steve Kerr spoke with media reporters.

When asked about the team’s star center Joel Embiid not getting any playing time in this game, Kerr stated that it was because they wanted to match South Sudan’s speed.

Kerr also revealed that in Team USA’s next game against Puerto Rico, the starting lineup will be: James, Curry, Booker, Holiday, and Embiid.
