Today, Chicago Sky rookie Angel Raise discussed her story with Caitlin Clark on her podcast,
She stated that although they have been trash-talking each other since the AAU league games, there is no conflict between them. Additionally, she looks forward to being on the same team as Clark in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, representing the USA women’s basketball team.
She also expressed that what offends her is the group of Clark’s fans. She has previously received death threats and been stalked back home by some of Clark’s extreme fans. She does not condone these actions, nor will they generate any hatred between her and Clark.
The competition for Rookie of the Year this season between the two has been fierce. However, due to a wrist injury, Raise’s season is over, putting the Sky’s playoff spot in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Clark has been leading the Fever to great success, seemingly ending the suspense for Rookie of the Year.
