Schroder Slyly Criticizes NBA for Being Too Entertaining: Europe Plays Pure Basketball of Intelligence; Aims to Play for National Team Until Old Age

Among them is their star player Dennis Schroder, who issued a warning to the U.S. team: Europe will challenge them in the future. After the bronze medal game, Schroder, in an interview, pointed out without hesitation that the U.S. team almost lost their chance to compete for their fifth gold medal. He particularly emphasized the differences in focus between U.S. and European basketball, with the German believing that European basketball will soon surpass.

It’s full of truly high-IQ players who know how to play the game. Like Serbia, Greece, Spain, France, and Germany – there are so many teams that understand the game and also possess athleticism.”

He added, “Of course, the NBA is the best league in the world, but Europe will definitely rise.” Regarding his future with the national team, Schroder also stated that he will play for the German team until he is 40 years old. He said, “I’ve said I’m going to play until I’m 40. I’m going to play until I’m 40. That’s my goal. Hopefully, if I play until I’m 40, my teammates can play until they’re 36-37, and then the game will become special.”
