“I think it was a terrible evening; it was a long day. I went to the gym during the day for practice, everything was fine, but by nightfall, everything had changed. Things just happened that way. When I came out of shock, 4 minutes later Shams had already tweeted about it. I didn’t get a call; it was Connelly (the Timberwolves’ General Manager) who told me in person. He came to my house and told me, and I respect that.”
