Recently, former heavyweight triple champion Anthony Joshua’s (28-3, 25 KOs) head coach, Ben Davison, told the media that he predicts Joshua will knock out current IBF heavyweight titleholder Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) to become a three-time world heavyweight champion.
Ben Davison said, “Yes, I’m expecting Joshua to stop Dubois. I’m very confident in Joshua knocking out Dubois. Joshua knows Dubois’ strengths and weaknesses inside out. That’s why I’m happy with this choice of opponent for him.”
Davison previously served as Tyson Fury’s (34-1-1, 24 KOs) coach, overseeing his first fight against Deontay Wilder (43-4-1, 42 KOs). Joshua’s recent victories over Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou were guided by Davison, with Joshua looking dominant and rejuvenated in both contests.
Joshua is set to face Dubois on September 21st, and current odds are at 1-4, with Joshua being the clear favorite.
