Former four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr. (67-9, 49 KOs) recently told the media that he believes current WBC/WBA Super/IBF/WBO heavyweight titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) will once again defeat Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) in their upcoming rematch.
“I think Tyson Fury will lose the rematch again, although there’s always a chance he could win,” said Roy Jones Jr. “Usyk now knows he can hurt Tyson Fury, and smaller fighters realize they have the capability to damage bigger opponents. In this second fight, Usyk will be the favorite. I’m sure Fury will be focused on correcting his mistakes, but Usyk will beat Tyson Fury again.”
Fury and Usyk are set to clash in a rematch on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the final big bout of the year. The current odds are at 1-2, with Usyk slightly favored.
