Recently, Frazer Clarke, the bronze medalist in the +91 kg category at the 2021 Olympics and now a professional boxer with a record of 8-0-1 (6 KOs), shared his thoughts on the upcoming IBF heavyweight title clash between Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) scheduled for September 21.
Frazer Clarke commented, “I predict it’s going to be a great fight, and I think most people are favoring Joshua based on his past accomplishments. But you can’t underestimate Dubois, especially with his partnership with Don Charles. Dubois’ last performance against Filip Hrgović (17-1, 14 KOs) really surprised me; he showed great power and determination. I wasn’t sure before, but Dubois proved me wrong. So their fight will definitely be interesting, and I’m sure Dubois will be well-prepared.”
Joshua is currently the favorite at 1-4 odds. If he successfully navigates this bout, he is expected to face Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) in either the first or second quarter of next year, regardless of whether Fury emerges victorious in his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
