Blizzard: Overwatch Reaches 100 Million Players, A New Milestone

During the announcement of “Pink Angel Charity Event’s Return” by Blizzard President Johanna Faries, it was revealed that the player base of Overwatch has surpassed 100 million, marking a significant achievement. This number likely includes both the original and the sequel’s player counts combined.

In 2018, the game released the “Pink Angel” skin, with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Re-release of Pink Angel skin

After a six-year gap, in response to player demand, “Pink Angel” is being reissued for Overwatch 2 at $14.99. A new bundle called “Rose Gold Angel” is also launching, featuring an updated Angel design, a separate Pink Angel weapon skin, sprays, and emojis, priced at $19.99.

Limited-time event details

The special event will commence on June 26th in Beijing time and conclude on July 9th. All proceeds from these sales will once again be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation BCRF.
