In the grand final of the BLAST Spring Finals 2024, Spirit defeated Natus Vincere 3-1 to secure their second S-series title in team history. Following the tournament, HLTV announced donk as the MVP.
Throughout the event, donk delivered a top-tier performance, never dipping below a 1.0 Rating with an average of 1.33. He had six maps with a Rating above 1.40, including a tournament-high 1.74 Rating against VP in the group stage. In the grand final, donk contributed with a remarkable 73-57 K/D ratio, a 93.82 ADR, and a 1.30 Rating, leading all players in these categories. Apart from the Rating leaderboard, donk topped the charts in KAST, KPR, ADR, Impact, and multi-kills per round, making his MVP accolade well-deserved!
This marks donk’s fourth MVP medal, with previous ones coming from IEM Katowice 2024 and BB Villa Cup 2024. It has been over four months since Spirit’s victory at IEM Katowice, during which time both he and the team have experienced ups and downs.
