What happens when an “OG” of the Chinese rap scene collides with one of the “Big Three” in computer hardware? Recently, the AORUS All-Star Program welcomed its newest guest – the prominent figure in Chinese rap, SheDDi.
Renowned for his unique fusion of “Sichuanese” into rap, SheDDi is celebrated for his versatile style, exceptional technique, catchy melodies, and profound lyrics. His songs often reflect societal phenomena, expose injustices, and resonate deeply with listeners, earning him immense respect from fans of Chinese rap.
For SheDDi, AORUS crafted a personalized themed rig, an AORUS all-in-one bundle that embodies his individual style. The essence of Hip-Hop culture lies in its limitless nature, making Hip-Hop music perpetually fresh and Rappers eternally cool. Thus, GIGABYTE chose the latest and coolest limited edition products for SheDDi: the Titanium AORUS Z790 motherboard and RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card combo.
Specifically, the motherboard is the Z790 AORUS XTREME ICE (referred to as Z790 Titanium AORUS motherboard), and the GPU is the AORUS RTX 4080 SUPER XTREME ICE 16GB (RTX4080 SUPER Titanium AORUS GPU). Both feature a predominantly white design, accentuated with golden details, titanium texture, and translucent reflective surfaces that create different visual effects from various angles. Under PC case lighting, this titanium frost design truly shines!
Both the motherboard and GPU boast a 1.5g pure gold plaque, part of a limited edition run of only 300 sets, each with a unique serial number. The Z790 Titanium AORUS motherboard comes with a 5-inch LCD screen on its Dr.mos cooling armor, displaying real-time system information like temperatures, frequencies, fan speeds, along with dynamic AORUS logos and custom boot screens. A large cooling shroud covers the lower half of the board, hiding connectors, and features side-mounted power delivery connectors for neater cable management. The motherboard also includes a dedicated toolbox with accessories like a custom GPU support bracket, adapters, AORUS gold warranty card, stickers, and anti-static gloves.
The BIOS interface is tailored with custom graphics, supporting i9-14900KS at 6.3GHz and DDR5 at 8266MHz with a single click, offering peak performance effortlessly. It also features AI BOOST, assessing CPU overclocking potential using AI data and displaying a “Cookie Score” for fine-tuning, allowing for one-click overclocking without needing to restart or enter the BIOS.
In terms of specifications, the Z790 Titanium AORUS motherboard employs a 24+1+2 phase power supply, with a maximum current of 105A per phase. Its PCB utilizes an 8-layer 2oz copper server-grade design, reducing transmission loss by 56% and enhancing high-frequency signal integrity, setting new standards for overclocking.
Additional features include a metal backplate, PCIe 5.0 x16 alloy armor reinforced GPU slot, five M.2 slots (one supporting PCIe 5.0), twelve USB ports (including two Thunderbolt 4/USB-C), a 10Gbps Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 7. The motherboard’s memory performance is formidable, with four DDR5 RAM slots, utilizing memory interference shielding, isolated memory traces, and back-drilled technology to ensure robustness.
The RTX4080 SUPER Titanium AORUS GPU enters the arena at the pinnacle, boasting the highest factory default core clock speed (2700MHz) among all RTX 4080 SUPER GPUs. With AI performance rated at 885 AI TOPS, it excels not just in gaming but also in productivity and AI computing.
The cooling module employs GIGABYTE’s Windforce system, featuring fan blades designed after shark fins for noise reduction and increased air pressure. It also includes 3D Active Fan, forward/reverse rotation, and RGB Chroma Fusion. The heatsink comprises a direct touch vapor chamber and 12 composite heat pipes, complemented by intake grill technology, making it a standout product in the GPU market.
Like the motherboard, the RTX4080 SUPER Titanium AORUS GPU has an LCD display, which defaults to showing real-time GPU and VRAM monitoring. Users can customize it with text, images, or even GIFs. For instance, SheDDi showcased the “COUPLE HUNNID” gesture on his custom AIO cooler, and this image could also be displayed on the GPU.
