The teams for the $300,000 prize pool event in India have been finalized.
nexa will make his debut with BLEED at this tournament.
Today, Indian tournament organizer Skyesports announced that FURIA has withdrawn from the event due to scheduling conflicts. BLEED, PARIVISION, and DMS have accepted their invitations to participate.
FURIA recently acquired Felipe Medeiros | skullz from Liquid. They are set to compete in next week’s e-sports World Cup in Saudi Arabia and the IEM Cologne event in early August.
Notably, the Skyesports Championship will mark Nemanja Isaković | nexa’s debut with BLEED. The former G2 player officially joined the team last week.
Following Andrey Mekhryakov | Jerry’s departure from the team due to burnout, PARIVISION is still looking for a new member. Earlier in the off-season, Ivan Kochugov | F_1N was appointed as the team’s new head coach.
DMS is a lesser-known Russian squad that has been striving to improve their online ranking since December 2023. Three of its members have no experience in offline events.
The Skyesports Championship is scheduled to take place in Mumbai, India, from July 23-29, with a prize pool of $300,000. The event will begin with a round-robin group stage featuring six teams divided into two groups, followed by a single-elimination playoff.
