Last night, the official BLAST account announced on social media that the NRG team would be unable to participate in the BLAST Fall Showdown due to scheduling conflicts with Shanghai Major related events. According to BLAST tournament rules, the runner-up of the North American qualifier, Team M80, will replace NRG in the competition.
The BLAST Fall Showdown is scheduled for August 21-25 and will feature a total of 16 participating teams. It’s worth noting that both NRG and M80 have recently undergone roster changes.
