G2’s sniper m0NESY addressed a fan’s question during a livestream, stating that he has no intention of leaving the team.
A fan asked if he was departing, to which m0NESY replied, “No, regardless, I’m not planning on leaving G2.”
Previously, the community noticed m0NESY following the account of a Cloud9 executive on social media. However, it’s unclear if this is related to Denis Sharipov | electroNic’s move to Virtus.pro. Some speculations in the community suggest that it might signal m0NESY’s potential joining of Cloud9. Nevertheless, G2’s manager peca assured fans earlier in April that there would be no changes to the G2 roster for the time being.
m0NESY has been playing for G2 since January 2022 and has won titles with the team at the 2022 BLAST Global Finals, IEM Katowice 2023, and IEM Cologne 2023.
