Both Spirit and MOUZ have two trophies each, but Natus Vincere’s Major victory and FaZe’s consistent performance throughout the year have also made them strong contenders for the title of best team of the year.

Given that this honor is still up for debate, we asked the official BLAST Premier talent, analysts, and hosts to share their thoughts and predict which top team will have the best run in the second half of 2024.

Anders: Astralis

Astralis has been flying under the radar for a while. It’s time they prove themselves with victories.

Pimp: Vitality

I think Vitality will be the best performing team in the second half of 2024. Honestly, I don’t know why exactly, as all teams are very close in terms of skill.

When it comes to who could become the best team of 2024 in the second half, Spirit, FaZe, or even MOUZ could easily take the win. But there’s something that tells me ZywOo will return to his peak form in the second half, which is a crucial factor in my belief that Vitality has a good shot.

Similarly, I believe apEX and his squad are not entirely satisfied with their first six months, so they should have an extra push to find their perfect form again. If I had to pick one, I would go with Vitality.

Tech Girl: Spirit

The answer is clear: Spirit. They started the year winning IEM Katowice and closed out the first half of the season by taking the top spot at the BLAST Premier Spring Final. If they can keep this momentum going and donk continues to perform well, I believe they will be among the world’s best teams in the second half of 2024.

That said, you cannot overlook FaZe. Their start to the year was not ideal, but I think they likely used the player break to reset and karrigan may have spent most of that time preparing his next big move. So I think they have a chance too. By the end of the year, we might see FaZe back in the dominant position.

They showcased their full potential in London, capping off the first half of the season perfectly. However, MOUZ will be a strong competitor.

Maniac: Spirit

Despite the fierce competition in today’s CS scene, I believe that by the end of 2024, Spirit will have the edge. They have shown a high level of play, securing two trophies and demonstrating impressive consistency. There are no signs of them slowing down, as they continue to push forward relentlessly to become an unstoppable force.
