Boltz, a finalist at the 2017 PGL Kraków Major, is ready to make his comeback to CS:GO after considering retirement earlier this year.
The Brazilian player, formerly of Immortals and MIBR, has announced that he is open to resuming his CS:GO career. The 26-year-old is still under contract with Imperial and is looking for interested teams to reach out to his organization.
Boltz joined Imperial in February 2022 as part of their “Last Dance” lineup and represented the Brazilian team for over a year and a half until he was benched in October last year to make room for Lucas “decenty” Bacelar. During his tenure, he posted a 1.10 Rating and competed in the 2022 PGL Antwerp Major and several top-tier events.
Afterwards, he formed O PLANO alongside fer, fnx, TACO, and kNgV-, attempting to qualify for the PGL Copenhagen Major, but they failed to advance to the playoffs.
The 26-year-old had been facing uncertainty about his future, even contemplating retirement in a late-January interview. However, he has now decided to resume his professional career. In a statement on his social media, Boltz said:
“As everyone saw last year, I took some time off to clear my mind, and now I am announcing my return. Well-rested, I am more motivated than ever. I want to step back into competition. I am still contracted with Imperial, but there is a buyout clause, and I am open to considering offers from other teams. I can play multiple roles, including as an in-game leader, and I hope to get back on the server soon, competing and playing in the next Major.”
