With the conclusion of the ESL Impact League in Europe, the eight teams battling for championship glory at the S5 offline finals have been determined.
Four teams from Europe, two from North America, and one from South America qualified after showcasing their prowess in their respective regional leagues. HSG fe from the Asia-Pacific region secured their spot through an open qualifier.
In the European regular season, Pigeons, previously known as Nigma Galaxy, dominated with a perfect 5-0 record to top their group and advance to the S5 Dallas Finals, while NAVI Javelins clinched first place in their group by defeating Fearless Cheetahs.
The remaining two European spots were decided through playoffs between second and third-place teams. Let Her Cook secured their spot with a thrilling 2-1 victory over GUILD fe, and BIG EQUIPA also advanced with a 2-1 win against Fearless Cheetahs, eliminating Fearless Cheetahs and marking the first time Ksenia Kluenkova | vilga, a former champion with Nigma Galaxy, will miss an ESL Impact Grand Final.
In the North American region, with eight teams competing, the top two directly qualified for the S5 offline Finals. FlyQuest RED and Shimmer finished first and second in the league, respectively. In their final showdown, FlyQuest RED emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.
Last but not least, HSG fe secured their spot by finishing first in the Asia-Pacific open qualifier.
