Early on June 21, Colombian first-division team Millionarios announced the signing of 38-year-old veteran Radamel Falcao. He will don the shirt of his hometown club and continue his football career.
Last season, Falcao played for La Liga’s Rayo Vallecano, featuring in 26 matches with 3 starts, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist. After his contract expired this summer, he has returned to Colombia as a free agent to sign with Millionarios.
Falcao himself expressed that playing for Millionarios was a childhood dream: “When I left Colombia, I said that I wanted to return to Millionarios someday because I have always been a fan, and I hope to finish my career here.”
