According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are keen on signing French midfielder Khephren Thuram from Nice, with a potential transfer fee in the region of €15-18 million.

The report indicates that Juventus have become disillusioned with the progress of contract negotiations with midfielder Adrien Rabiot and are now looking at alternative options in the midfield.

It is understood that they have already made contact with Khephren Thuram, whose deal with Nice expires in a year and who has shown no intention of extending his stay. This presents an opportunity for Juventus to acquire the 23-year-old at a relatively lower cost.

Of note, Khephren is the younger brother of Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram and the son of former Juventus defender Lilian Thuram. Interestingly, Khephren was born just weeks before Lilian joined Juventus in 2001, thus creating a sort of connection between him and the Bianconeri.
