On June 23, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, forward José Morales and Segunda División club Levante have reached an agreement for his return.
The player reportedly confirmed this himself during his wedding on Friday.
Morales, who will turn 37 in a month, joined Levante in 2012 and left the club in the summer of 2022 after the team’s relegation, signing for Villarreal. The veteran is now set to rejoin Levante this summer.
This season, Morales made 80 appearances for Villarreal, scoring 25 goals and providing 5 assists.
