On June 21, Scotland’s head coach John Carver confirmed in a press conference that Kieran Tierney, who sustained a serious injury earlier, has left the squad and will not feature in any further Euro matches.
Tierney was injured during Scotland’s match against Switzerland, being stretchered off the pitch in the 61st minute of the second half.
Carver stated that Tierney has returned to London and will undergo a medical assessment by Arsenal.
When asked if Tierney could rejoin the team, Carver said, “If possible, he could come back to Germany to support the team from the sidelines.”
