Macarthur FC Officially Announces Parting Ways with Davila; Player Faces Court Over Deliberate Yellow Card Incident

On June 24th, Macarthur FC issued a statement announcing the termination of their contract with player Davila.

The club stated, “The club and Davila have mutually agreed to terminate the contract. The club will not be making any further comment at this stage.”

The 33-year-old Davila joined Macarthur FC in the summer of 2021, making 71 appearances, scoring 26 goals, and providing 10 assists. However, he has recently been under investigation by Australian police for allegedly deliberating getting booked during a match.

Today also marks the day when Davila is due in court to face charges related to conspiring with others to profit illegally through intentionally receiving yellow cards.
