Aston Villa have officially announced the signing of Dutch left-back Martens from Chelsea.
Martens, 22, primarily plays as a left-back. He was on loan at Borussia Dortmund last season, but Dortmund did not exercise their option to buy him. Currently, he is playing for the Dutch national team in the Euros.
Martens has signed a six-year contract with Villa, and according to Sky Sports, the transfer fee is reported to be between £35 million and £40 million.
