On June 29, according to the latest report from Spanish newspaper Marca, Atlético Madrid has agreed on a deal with Spanish international defender Léonormand. The central defender has committed to playing for the Rojiblancos, with the transfer fee estimated to be around 30 million euros.
Léonormand currently plays for Real Sociedad in La Liga and, at 27 years old, he made 43 appearances this season, scoring two goals. He was also included in Spain’s 26-man squad for the European Championship and has since become a key central defender for the team.
