Romano: Spinazzola set to leave Roma on a free transfer, continued talks with Napoli

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Italian left-back Leonardo Spinazzola has confirmed he will depart Roma when his contract expires.

Earlier, Sky Sports reported that Napoli had shown interest in signing Spinazzola. Romano reveals that Napoli have recently been in touch with the player’s agent, and both parties are maintaining contact to evaluate a potential collaboration for next season.

Spinazzola joined Roma in 2019. Last season, he made 36 appearances for the club, scoring one goal and providing four assists. His current market value is €4 million.
