Skriniar Unwilling to Leave, Publicly States He Will Stay at PSG

According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain is considering terminating its contract with Milan Skriniar, but the Slovak central defender is not willing to depart the club.

The 29-year-old joined PSG on a free transfer last summer, with his contract running until June 2028. Skriniar has publicly expressed his desire to stay, stating he has no intention of leaving unless the club offers him substantial compensation.

Given that Skriniar has four years left on his deal and is one of the team’s highest-paid players, Paris Saint-Germain faces a challenging task in offloading him. As such, this standoff could drag on for some time.

In addition to Skriniar, PSG is also looking to part ways with Fabian Ruiz, despite the Spanish midfielder’s impressive performance in the recent European Championship.

On the signing front, PSG has already secured the services of Russian goalkeeper Matvei Safonov. Other targets include Dean Huysen (Juventus), Gylfi Traustason (Feyenoord), and Amadou Onana (Everton).
