The Spanish La Liga EA Sports has rated the main referees for the eight UEFA Euro 2024 Round of 16 matches. English referee Michael Oliver received the lowest score. He made several erroneous and contentious calls during the Germany vs. Denmark game.

Felix Zwayer (4.0 points) – In the Romania vs. Netherlands match, Zwayer struggled with game control, frequently blowing his whistle and interrupting a potential Romanian counterattack based on the advantage rule.

Umuet Mele (5.0 points) – In England vs. Slovakia, Mele’s frequent bookings disrupted the flow of the game.

Glen Nieberger (5.0 points) – Nieberger’s inconsistent refereeing in France vs. Belgium saw him issue two unwarranted yellow cards in the first minute.

Daniele Orsato (7.5 points) – In Portugal vs. Slovenia, the Italian made virtually all correct calls, with only minor imperfections.

Arthur Soares (7.5 points) – In Austria vs. Turkey, Soares’ judgment was spot on throughout, with all four yellow cards correctly awarded.
