On July 17, Dijon Women’s Football Club announced that Chinese international Wang Yanwen has joined the team, signing a two-year contract.
The 25-year-old Wang Yanwen, who primarily plays as a central midfielder but can also fill in as a forward, will now be teammates with national team colleague Wu Chengshu following her move to Dijon Women’s FC.
Prior to this, Wang Yanwen had always played in domestic competitions within China, making this her first venture into overseas football.
